The short version: we collect only what we need to give you the right access, we do not sell your data, and the bot does not read your messages.
1. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains what information Closing Line collects when you use Closing Line's website, Discord server and Discord bot (the “Service”), and what we do with it.
2. Information we collect
- From Discord: your Discord user ID, username and display name, the roles you hold in our server, the channels you can access, and the slash commands you run (with their options).
- Payments: our payment provider handles your payment details and tells us whether you have an active plan, which plan, and when it ends. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Technical data: basic logs from our website and bot hosting, such as IP address, browser type and error reports.
- What you send us: anything you post in our server or tell us when you contact us.
The bot does not read the content of your messages, and it does not collect betting account details, bet slips or sportsbook logins.
3. How we use it
- To run the Service: give you the right roles and channels for your plan, answer your commands, and enforce plan limits;
- to process and verify payments and prevent fraud or sharing of paid content;
- to keep the community safe, enforce our Terms, and respond to support requests;
- to improve and secure the Service.
Our public track record uses only the alerts the bot sends. It does not include any member's personal betting results.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the Service, and only as needed:
- Discord, which hosts our server and bot;
- our payment and subscription provider;
- our cloud hosting provider;
- authorities or other parties when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
Our odds data provider receives requests for sports odds only. It does not receive member information.
5. How long we keep it
We keep role and plan records while you have an account and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, fraud prevention and dispute handling. Bot logs are kept for a short time. You can ask us to delete your information (see below), except where we must keep it by law.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it for a purpose, by contacting us by opening a ticket in the support channel of our Discord server. You can leave the server at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we will respect those.
7. Age
The Service is for people aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 is using the Service, contact us and we will remove their access and information.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, such as limiting who can access our systems and keeping secrets out of public code. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies on this website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date, and announce material changes in the Discord server.
